Today we woke up early even though it was though (the night before gathering information around was though).

We woke up early because we planned to go to MONA (Museum of Old and New Art) and then quickly go to grab the campervan and head north. Something interesting is that to head north on this side of the world is equivalent to head south on ours.

Before catching the transportation for MONA, we were desperately looking for good, but it was Sunday so probably not easy... well, there was this amazing cafe next to the port. Sunny terrace, cozy interior and fill of people. We headed there, and got our meal. Mine was a delicious pumpkin, avocado, cheese and caramelized onion one, amazing! I am super happy about the food here, it is really vegetarian friendly 👍.

So, before I get lost in food again, this MONA is a pretty special place. You can only get there by ferry, but a cool one, where some of the seats aren't seats but goats, which gives you an idea that it is going to be peculiar. Once you arrive you can confirm it. From outside, the place looks like the island of one of the bad guys in 007. In the moment you go in it looks like getting into a black mirror episode, or many. Huge sculpture of a head were, if you look inside, you can see thoughts and craziness. A pooping machine, it really poops and smells terrible. I won't say more because first, I don't want to spoil it a second, if you really want to spoil it to yourself you can look it up in the internet.

After the shocking experience in MONA, we headed to the campervan rental and we started heading north. The beginning of drive showed us two things: the road trip was going to be amazing and there would be many animals which would be popping out as the road was full of death bodies, this is definitely a problem here.

After a two hours drive we made it to the spiky bridge, beautiful spot next to the beach. We cooked up some food and enjoyed the view while having dinner. Right after we decided to go for a walk, to try to see some animals. What we managed to see in the end, some possums on top of a tree (actually the glowy eyes, since they were far up and it was really dark).

Then we went to sleep, we were tired but happy, our great east coast drive just got started and before us, we had an stunning beach view.

Diego!
